Surgery list is currently closed to new patient registrations

21/3/2017

We are sorry that we are currently unable to accept your application.  We are committed to proving a safe, accessible and quality medical service to our patients.  As a consequence of the current workload pressures, our list is currently closed to new patient’s registrations.

There have unfortunately been a number of surgeries closed in our area which has meant an unprecedented influx of new patients and in order to maintain a quality and safe service to our existing patients we cannot sustain any further increase in our list size at the moment.

We will update our website when we find ourselves in a position to register new patients.

Thank you.

Your Accountabl GP

Your Accountable GP

By the 31st March 2016 Practices are required under the GMS Contract to allocate a named accountable GP to all patients, including children.  This is purely an administrative exercise and does not change the way in which we operate or affect your ability to make an appointment or speak with any of the GPs in the Practice.

You will be allocated to the GP who you see most often when you visit the surgery for an appointment. Having a named GP does not prevent you seeing any other doctor in the Practice as your usual GP will not be available at all times and if your needs are urgent, you may wish to discuss them with an alternative Doctor.

New patients registering will be allocated at the point of registration.  If you are aged over 75 or have taken part in the Avoiding Unplanned Admissions Scheme you will already have been allocated a named accountable GP and notified in writing - this GP will remain the same and will not change.

If you wish to be told the name of your accountable GP, please ask the Receptionists when you are next in the surgery.

Would you recommend this practice to your friends and family?

Please fill out our quick survey located in the green box at the top of our website - you can help us improve our services by giving valuable input into your opinion on the surgery.

  Thank you

Surgery Telephone Times

The telephones will not be operative between 12:00 – 14:00 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday.

Help Us, Help You!

Last month we had 253 minutes wasted by patients either not turning up to their appointments or letting us know too late when cancelling appointments.  If you are unable to come to an appointment please let us know as early as possible so that we can give your appointment to someone who needs it.
